Leh Ladakh Odyssey: 7 Nights & 8 Days

Arrive at Kushok Bakula Rimpochee Airport and transfer to your hotel. Spend the day resting and acclimatizing to the high altitude, preparing for the adventures ahead.

After breakfast, visit the Hall of Fame, a museum maintained by the Indian Army, followed by the sacred Kali Mata Temple and Gurdwara Pathar Sahib. Experience the optical illusion at Magnetic Hill, where vehicles appear to move uphill on their own, and admire the stunning Sangam (Indus–Zanskar Confluence). End the day with panoramic views from the Shanti Stupa, before returning to your hotel in Leh for an overnight stay.

After breakfast, drive to Nubra Valley via the legendary Khardung La Pass, one of the highest motorable roads in the world. Explore the stunning Nubra Valley, known for its lush green landscapes amidst rugged mountains, and visit the Hunder Sand Dunes, where you can enjoy an optional ride on the rare double-humped Bactrian camels. Return to your accommodation for an overnight stay in Nubra Valley.

After breakfast, drive to Turtuk Village, a small Baltistani village near the India-Pakistan border. Explore its rich heritage, including a 16th-century Mosque with Persian and Turkish influences, the ruined Dhards Fort, and a local monastery. Enjoy breathtaking views of K2 Peak, the world’s second-highest mountain, and visit Zero Point, the northernmost accessible point in India. Return to Nubra Valley for an overnight stay.

After breakfast, visit Diskit Monastery, home to a towering Buddha statue. Drive along the scenic Shyok River route to Pangong Lake. Explore the iconic filming spot of the Bollywood movie 3 Idiots and soak in the mesmerizing changing colours of the lake under the open sky. Overnight stay at accommodations near Pangong Lake.

Wake up early to witness a breathtaking sunrise at Pangong Lake. After breakfast, drive back to Leh via the scenic Chang La Pass, the third-highest motorable road in the world. En route, explore Leh’s iconic landmarks including Hemis Monastery, Thiksey Monastery, the famous Druk White Lotus School (Rancho School from 3 Idiots), and the historic Shey Palace along with Sindhu Ghat. Return to your hotel in Leh for an overnight stay.

After breakfast, explore Leh’s key landmarks starting with Shey Palace, the former summer palace of Ladakhi kings. Continue to the Hemis Museum, which showcases Ladakh’s rich cultural heritage, and visit Thiksey Monastery, one of the largest and most beautiful monasteries in the region. You may end your day at Sindhu Ghat, a serene riverside spot (Optional). Return to your hotel for an overnight stay in Leh.
