Itinerary

DAY1

Arrive at Kushok Bakula Rimpochee Airport, where you will be transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day is reserved for relaxation and acclimatization to the high altitude, allowing your body to gradually adjust to the unique Himalayan environment. Take it easy and enjoy the peaceful surroundings of Leh before beginning your journey through Ladakh. Overnight stay in Leh.

DAY2

After breakfast, begin your exploration with a visit to the Hall of Fame, a museum dedicated to the bravery and sacrifices of the Indian Army. Continue to the sacred Kali Mata Temple and the peaceful Gurdwara Pathar Sahib, both important religious landmarks set amidst Ladakh’s dramatic mountain scenery. Next, stop at Magnetic Hill, where vehicles appear to defy gravity and roll uphill. A short drive ahead brings you to the breathtaking Sangam (Indus–Zanskar Confluence), where the contrasting waters of the Indus and Zanskar Rivers meet. Later, visit the serene Shanti Stupa and enjoy stunning panoramic sunset views over Leh and the surrounding mountains before returning for an overnight stay in Leh.

DAY3

After breakfast, embark on a scenic drive from Leh through the legendary Khardung La Pass, one of the highest motorable roads in the world, offering spectacular views of the surrounding Himalayan peaks. Descend into the beautiful Nubra Valley, often referred to as the Valley of Flowers for its unique landscape and natural beauty. Upon arrival, visit the stunning Hunder Sand Dunes, where you can experience the rare double-humped Bactrian camel ride across the high-altitude desert terrain. After spending time exploring the valley’s remarkable scenery, settle in for an overnight stay in Nubra Valley.

DAY4

Set out to explore the remote border village of Turtuk, a culturally rich settlement that was once part of Baltistan before being reclaimed by India after the Indo-Pakistani War of 1971. Walk through the village to see its historic landmarks, including a 16th-century mosque, the ruins of an old fort, and a small Buddhist monastery that reflect the region’s layered history and traditions. On a clear day, you may also catch distant views of K2, the world’s second-highest peak. Continue further to Thang Village Zero Point, one of the closest accessible points to the Indo–Pakistan border, offering a unique perspective on this remote frontier. After the excursion, return to Nubra Valley for an overnight stay.

DAY5

Begin the day with visits to the peaceful Diskit Monastery and the nearby Hunder Monastery, both offering serene surroundings and beautiful views of Nubra Valley. Later, travel along the scenic Shyok River route toward the breathtaking Pangong Lake, a high-altitude lake renowned for its striking shades of blue that shift throughout the day. While at the lake, visit the famous filming spot from the Bollywood movie 3 Idiots, a popular attraction for visitors. Spend time admiring the spectacular landscape before settling in for an overnight stay near Pangong Lake.

DAY6

Begin the day with a peaceful sunrise at Pangong Lake, where the first light of the day reflects beautifully across the lake’s ever-changing blue waters.
