Itinerary

DAY1

Arrive at Guwahati Airport / Railway Station and transfer to hotel. Explore Guwahati, the gateway to North East India, situated on the banks of the Brahmaputra River. Visit Kamakhya Temple One of India’s most powerful Shakti Peeths, located atop Nilachal Hill. Expect scenic views and spiritual ambiance. Visit Umananda Temple A unique Shiva temple located on Peacock Island in the Brahmaputra River (short ferry ride). In the evening, Optional Brahmaputra River Cruise (sunset with cultural program) and Shopping at Fancy Bazaar.

Overnight stay in Guwahati.

DAY2

After breakfast, drive to Shillong, popularly known as the “Scotland of the East.” Enroute stop at Umiam Lake A scenic reservoir surrounded by pine forests. Optional boating available. On arrival in Shillong Check-in to hotel. Local Sightseeing includes Elephant Falls, Shillong Peak (highest viewpoint of the city), Ward’s Lake, and Don Bosco Museum (optional). In the evening Leisure time at Police Bazaar for shopping & cafés.

Overnight stay in Shillong.

DAY3

After early breakfast, proceed for a full-day excursion. Visit Cherrapunji (Sohra) including Nohkalikai Falls – India’s tallest plunge waterfall, Seven Sisters Falls (seasonal), and Mawsmai Cave. Continue towards Umngot River Famous for crystal-clear waters where boats appear floating. Optional boating available. Return to Shillong by evening.

Overnight stay in Shillong.

DAY4

After breakfast, check-out and drive back to Guwahati for departure. Tour concludes with memorable North East experiences.
