Itinerary

DAY1

Arrival at Airport / Railway Station and transfer to hotel in Guwahati. After check-in and freshening up, proceed for local sightseeing including Kamakhya Temple One of the most revered Shakti Peethas situated atop Nilachal Hill, and Umananda Temple Located on Peacock Island in the Brahmaputra River with a short ferry ride experience. Evening Optional sunset cruise on the Brahmaputra River.

Overnight stay in Guwahati.

DAY2

After breakfast, drive to Shillong, famously called the “Scotland of the East.” Enroute Stop at Umiam Lake Scenic lake surrounded by hills with optional boating available. Arrival in Shillong Hotel check-in followed by visit to Ward’s Lake and Police Bazaar for shopping & cafés.

Overnight stay in Shillong.

DAY3

After early breakfast, proceed for a full-day trip to Cherrapunji (Sohra). Sightseeing includes Nohkalikai Falls India’s tallest plunge waterfall with dramatic turquoise pool, Seven Sisters Falls (seasonal), Eco Park, and Mawsmai Cave Explore natural limestone formations. Return to Shillong by evening.

Overnight stay in Shillong.

DAY4

After breakfast, drive towards Dawki & Mawlynnong. Visit Umngot River Famous for crystal-clear waters where boats appear to float on air with Optional boating available. Visit Mawlynnong Known as “Asia’s Cleanest Village” along with Bamboo Sky Walk, Living Root Bridge, and Local Khasi village experience. Return to Shillong by evening.

Overnight stay in Shillong.

DAY5

After breakfast, check-out and transfer to Guwahati Airport / Railway Station for onward journey. Tour concludes with scenic Meghalaya memories.
