Itinerary

DAY1

Arrival at Guwahati Airport / Railway Station. Meet your driver and transfer to Shillong, famously known as the “Scotland of the East.” Enroute Stop: Umiam Lake A beautiful reservoir surrounded by pine hills. Ideal for photos and optional boating. Arrival in Shillong: Hotel check-in Evening visit to Police Bazaar Café hopping & local Khasi cuisine experience.

Overnight stay in Shillong.

DAY2

After breakfast, proceed to Cherrapunji (Sohra), one of the wettest places on Earth. Sightseeing enroute & in Sohra: Elephant Falls Shillong Peak (panoramic city view) Nohkalikai Falls India’s tallest plunge waterfall with a dramatic turquoise pool below. Seven Sisters Falls (seasonal) Eco Park viewpoint Check-in to hotel in Cherrapunji. Evening at leisure amidst misty valley views.

Overnight stay in Cherrapunji.

DAY3

After early breakfast, proceed for a full-day excursion. Visit: Umngot River Famous for crystal-clear waters where boats appear floating. Optional boating available. Mawlynnong Known as “Asia’s Cleanest Village.” Bamboo Sky Walk Living Root Bridge. Rural Khasi village walk. Return to Cherrapunji by evening.

Overnight stay in Cherrapunji.

DAY4

After breakfast, explore: Mawsmai Cave – Limestone cave exploration Arwah Cave (optional) Wei Sawdong Falls viewpoint (short trek) Later drive back to Shillong. Check-in to hotel. Evening free for shopping & relaxing.

Overnight stay in Shillong.

DAY5

After breakfast, check-out and transfer to Guwahati Airport / Railway Station for onward journey. Tour concludes with unforgettable Meghalaya memories.
