Itinerary

DAY1

Arrival at Guwahati Airport / Railway Station. Meet your driver and transfer to Shillong, popularly known as the “Scotland of the East,” in a private AC vehicle. Enroute stop at Umiam Lake, a picturesque reservoir surrounded by pine forests, where optional boating is available. On arrival in Shillong, check-in at hotel. The evening is free to explore Police Bazaar for shopping, cafés, and street food. Overnight stay in Shillong.

DAY2

After breakfast, explore major attractions including Elephant Falls, a scenic multi-tier waterfall, Shillong Peak, the highest viewpoint with panoramic hill views, and Ward’s Lake for a relaxing lakeside walk. You may also visit Don Bosco Museum (optional) for cultural insight into North East tribes. In the afternoon, weather permitting, visit Laitlum Canyons known for its dramatic valley landscape and photography spots. Evening at leisure. Overnight stay in Shillong.

DAY3

After breakfast, drive to Cherrapunji (Sohra), famous for its waterfalls and misty valleys, in a private AC vehicle. Sightseeing includes Nohkalikai Falls, India’s tallest plunge waterfall with a stunning turquoise pool below, Seven Sisters Falls (seasonal), Eco Park viewpoint, and Mawsmai Cave for limestone cave exploration. Check-in at hotel in Cherrapunjee. Evening at leisure amidst valley views. Overnight stay in Cherrapunjee.

DAY4

After breakfast, drive to Guwahati in a private AC vehicle. Check-in at hotel. Later visit Kamakhya Temple, one of India’s most important Shakti Peethas located atop Nilachal Hill. In the evening, optional sunset cruise on the Brahmaputra River is available. Overnight stay in Guwahati.

DAY5

After breakfast, drive back to Shillong in a private AC vehicle. Arrival and check-in. The day is free for café hopping, shopping at Police Bazaar, and leisure time. Optional local sightseeing includes Lady Hydari Park or Cathedral. Enjoy a relaxed final evening in Meghalaya. Overnight stay in Shillong.

DAY6

After breakfast, check-out and transfer to Guwahati Airport / Railway Station in a private AC vehicle for onward journey. Tour concludes with beautiful North East memories.
