Itinerary

DAY1

Arrival at Guwahati Airport / Railway Station. Meet your driver and transfer to Shillong, popularly known as the “Scotland of the East,” in a private AC vehicle. Enroute, stop at Umiam Lake, a picturesque lake surrounded by pine forests where optional boating is available. Upon arrival in Shillong, check in at the hotel. In the evening, spend free time at Police Bazaar for local shopping and cafés. Overnight stay in Shillong.

DAY2

After breakfast, proceed for a full-day trip to Cherrapunji (Sohra). Sightseeing includes Nohkalikai Falls, India’s tallest plunge waterfall with stunning valley views, Seven Sisters Falls (seasonal), Eco Park, and Mawsmai Cave for limestone cave exploration. Return to Shillong by evening. Overnight stay in Shillong.

DAY3

After breakfast, drive to Kaziranga National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site famous for the One-Horned Rhinoceros, in a private AC vehicle. Enjoy a scenic drive through Assam’s tea gardens and countryside. On arrival, check in at the resort. Evening at leisure with optional cultural folk performance (subject to availability). Overnight stay in Kaziranga.

DAY4

Early morning Elephant Safari (subject to availability & season), offering an excellent chance to spot One-Horned Rhino, wild buffalo, deer, and bird species. Return for breakfast. Later, proceed for Jeep Safari in Central or Western Range with possible sightings of elephants, swamp deer, wild boar, and migratory birds. Evening free to relax at resort. Overnight stay in Kaziranga.

DAY5

After breakfast, drive to Guwahati in a private AC vehicle and check in at the hotel. Later, visit Kamakhya Temple, one of the most sacred Shakti Peethas in India. In the evening, optional sunset cruise on the Brahmaputra River is available. Overnight stay in Guwahati.

DAY6

After breakfast, check-out and transfer to Guwahati Airport / Railway Station in a private AC vehicle. Tour concludes with memorable North East experiences.
