Itinerary

DAY1

Upon arrival at Airport/Station, drive to Munnar in a private AC Vehicle, which takes approximately four hours. En route, you will stop at the Cheeyappara and Valara Waterfalls, surrounded by lush greenery and ideal for photographs. On arrival in Munnar, you will check into your hotel and relax for the evening while taking in views of the mist-covered valleys or strolling through nearby plantations.

DAY2

After breakfast, you will visit Eravikulam National Park, known for its rolling hills and the endangered Nilgiri Tahr. Later, you will take a guided tour of a tea museum and tea estate, where you will learn about tea processing. In the afternoon, you will visit Mattupetty Dam and Echo Point, with time to enjoy the peaceful surroundings. The evening is free for exploring the local spice market or relaxing at the hotel.

DAY3

You will depart Munnar and drive through winding roads and spice plantations to reach Thekkady, a journey of approximately three hours. After check-in at your hotel, you will experience a guided spice plantation tour, where an expert explains the cultivation of vanilla, cinnamon, and cardamom. In the evening, enjoy your leisure time.

DAY4

In the morning, you will enjoy a boat safari on Periyar Lake, keeping an eye out for wildlife such as elephants and bison along the shores. Later, you will drive to Alleppey, often referred to as the “Venice of the East,” in approximately four hours. On arrival, you will check into a backwater resort overlooking Vembanad Lake. In the evening, you can enjoy your leisure time.

DAY5

This day is dedicated to experiencing the backwaters aboard a private houseboat. You will cruise through palm-lined canals and lagoons while enjoying freshly prepared meals on board, including lunch featuring local flavors. In the afternoon, you will return to your hotel and have time to relax. The evening can be spent with a leisurely walk along Alleppey Beach or resting at the hotel.

DAY6

After breakfast, you will drive back to Cochin in your AC Vehicle. If time permits, you will visit Fort Kochi to see the iconic Chinese Fishing Nets and the Jewish Synagogue, followed by a short heritage walk through the colonial streets. You will then be transferred to Airport/Station for your onward journey, carrying memories of a peaceful Kerala escape.
