Itinerary

DAY1

Arrival at airport / railway station and transfer to hotel in Guwahati. Visit: Kamakhya Temple – one of the most sacred Shakti Peethas, offering panoramic views of the Brahmaputra. Evening (optional): Sunset cruise on the Brahmaputra River.

Overnight stay in Guwahati.

DAY2

After breakfast, drive to Shillong, popularly known as the “Scotland of the East.” Enroute stop at: Umiam Lake (Barapani) – scenic photo stop. Upon arrival, check-in at hotel. Evening: Ward’s Lake walk Police Bazaar shopping & cafés.

Overnight stay in Shillong.

DAY3

After breakfast, drive to Cherrapunjee (2 hrs). Visit enroute & nearby: Nohkalikai Falls (India’s tallest plunge waterfall) Seven Sisters Falls Mawsmai Cave Eco Park Arwah Cave (if time permits) Check-in at hotel in Cherrapunjee. Evening enjoy misty valley views and peaceful ambience.

Overnight stay in Cherrapunjee.

DAY4

After breakfast, proceed towards: Dawki – boating in crystal-clear Umngot River India–Bangladesh border viewpoint Mawlynnong – Asia’s Cleanest Village Living Root Bridge (short trek) Later return to Shillong by evening.

Overnight stay in Shillong.

DAY5

After breakfast, drive to Kaziranga National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site famous for the One-Horned Rhinoceros. Check-in at jungle resort. Evening leisure near tea gardens.

Overnight stay in Kaziranga.

DAY6

Early morning: Elephant Safari in Central Range (best for rhino sightings) Return for breakfast. Later: Jeep Safari in Western/Eastern Range Spot rhinos, elephants, wild buffalo, swamp deer & birds Evening free for relaxation.

DAY7

After breakfast, transfer to Guwahati Airport / Railway Station for onward journey. Tour concludes with unforgettable North East memories.
