Itinerary

DAY1

Arrive at Guwahati Airport and transfer to hotel. Visit: Kamakhya Temple – One of the most revered Shakti Peethas in India, located atop Nilachal Hill. Optional evening sunset cruise on the Brahmaputra River.

Overnight stay in Guwahati.

DAY2

After breakfast, drive to Kaziranga National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site famous for the One-Horned Rhinoceros. Check-in at jungle resort. Evening: Leisure nature walk around tea gardens Cultural Bihu dance show (optional).

Overnight stay near Kaziranga.

DAY3

Early morning: Elephant Safari in Central Range (best for rhino sightings) Return for breakfast. Later: Jeep Safari in Western or Eastern Range Spot rhinos, elephants, swamp deer, wild buffalo & various bird species Evening at leisure.

Overnight stay in Kaziranga.

DAY4

After breakfast, drive to Shillong, the “Scotland of the East.” Enroute visit: Umiam Lake (Barapani) – scenic photo stop Check-in at hotel. Evening visit: Police Bazaar for shopping & cafés.

Overnight stay in Shillong.

DAY5

After breakfast, day trip to Cherrapunjee (approx. 2 hrs). Visit: Nohkalikai Falls (India’s tallest plunge waterfall) Seven Sisters Falls Mawsmai Caves Eco Park Arwah Cave (if time permits) Return to Shillong by evening.

Overnight stay in Shillong.

DAY6

After breakfast, proceed for full-day excursion: Dawki – Crystal-clear Umngot River boating India–Bangladesh border viewpoint Mawlynnong – Asia’s Cleanest Village Living Root Bridge (short trek) Return to Shillong.

DAY7

After breakfast, transfer back to Guwahati Airport for onward journey. Tour concludes with beautiful North East memories.
