Itinerary

DAY1

Upon arrival at Cochin Airport or Railway Station, you will meet the driver and be escorted to your private AC vehicle, begin a scenic drive toward Munnar, passing through verdant landscapes and the cascading Valara and Cheeyappara Waterfalls. On arrival, you will check in to your hotel and enjoy leisure time to acclimatize. Overnight stay will be in Munnar.

DAY2

In the morning, you will visit Eravikulam National Park, home to the endangered Nilgiri Tahr. Later, you will explore the Tata Tea Museum. In the afternoon, visit Mattupetty Dam and Echo Point, where a boat ride on the lake can be arranged. You will also take a walk through a spice garden to see how cardamom and pepper are grown. Overnight stay will be in Munnar.

DAY3

After breakfast, proceed on a picturesque drive through winding roads to Thekkady (Periyar). In the afternoon, enjoy a Spice Plantation Tour where you can learn about Kerala’s “Black Gold.” In the evening, enjoy your leisure time. Overnight stay will be in Thekkady.

DAY4

In the morning, enjoy boating on Periyar Lake to spot wild elephants and bisons along the water’s edge. Later, descend from the Western Ghats toward the Arabian Sea in your AC Vehicle and arrive in Varkala. After check-in, spend the evening relaxing, exploring its boutiques and cafes. Overnight stay will be in Varkala.

DAY5

Begin your day with a visit to the historic Janardanaswamy Temple, known for its distinctive Kerala architecture. Spend the afternoon at Papanasam Beach, famous for its sacred natural springs. In the evening, enjoy time by the beach before returning to your hotel. Overnight stay will be in Varkala.

DAY6

After breakfast, take a comfortable drive to Alleppey, the “Venice of the East.” Board a private AC houseboat (Kettuvallam) equipped with air-conditioned bedrooms and a dedicated crew. Cruise through Vembanad Lake and narrow canals while observing unique paddy cultivation below sea level. Enjoy a traditional lunch. Overnight stay will be onboard the houseboat, anchored in a peaceful location.

DAY7

Enjoy a sunrise breakfast on the houseboat deck as you cruise back to the jetty. After disembarking, drive back to Cochin in your AC Vehicle. If time permits, you may visit the Fort Kochi Chinese Fishing Nets and the Jewish Synagogue. Later, you will be transferred to Cochin Airport or Railway Station for your onward journey.
