Itinerary

DAY1

Upon arrival in Kochi, you will be warmly received by your chauffeur and begin your scenic drive to Munnar. The journey takes you through winding mountain roads, lush forests, and beautiful waterfalls including Cheeyappara and Valara Falls. As you ascend into the Western Ghats, you will notice tea plantations stretching across the hills. After reaching Munnar, check in to your hotel and relax amidst the peaceful mountain surroundings.

DAY2

Begin your day with a visit to Eravikulam National Park, known for its rolling grasslands and the rare Nilgiri Tahr. Continue to Mattupetty Dam and Echo Point, where you can enjoy scenic views and peaceful surroundings. Visit the Tea Museum to learn about Kerala’s tea heritage and explore local gardens and viewpoints. Spend the evening at leisure enjoying the cool climate of Munnar.

DAY3

After breakfast, travel to Thekkady, a destination known for its spice plantations and forest landscapes. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and later visit a spice plantation where you can see cardamom, pepper, cinnamon, and other spices growing naturally. In the evening, you may explore the local markets or watch traditional cultural performances showcasing Kerala’s heritage.

DAY4

Start your day with a boat ride on Periyar Lake, located inside the Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary, where you may spot elephants, deer, and exotic birds. Later, explore the town, visit spice markets, or enjoy optional activities such as nature walks. The rest of the day can be spent relaxing and enjoying the peaceful forest environment.

DAY5

After breakfast, drive to Alleppey and board your traditional houseboat. Cruise through the calm backwaters of Vembanad Lake, passing villages, coconut trees, and paddy fields. Enjoy freshly prepared local meals onboard while experiencing the unique lifestyle of Kerala’s backwater communities. Spend the night onboard the houseboat surrounded by tranquil waters.

DAY6

After breakfast on the houseboat, disembark and proceed to Varkala. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel near the cliffside. Spend your evening walking along the famous Varkala Cliff, enjoying sea views, local cafes, and a relaxing sunset by the Arabian Sea.

DAY7

Visit the historic Janardanaswamy Temple, an important spiritual site known for its ancient architecture. Later, relax at the beach, explore local shops, or simply enjoy the peaceful coastal atmosphere. The day is free for leisure and relaxation.

DAY8

After breakfast, check out from your hotel and travel to Thiruvananthapuram Airport or Railway Station for your onward journey, taking with you memorable experiences of Kerala’s hills, forests, backwaters, and beaches.
