  गोष्ट, कोकणातल्या एका शांत गावात रहाणारेतीन जिवलग मित्र – कृष्णा, प्रसाद
  आणि सिद्धेश ची आहे.. मज्जा-मस्ती करत सुट्ट्या घालवण्याचंत्यांचंस्वप्न असतं.
  पण मग, पुण्याहून जाई येतेआणि ह्या तिघांचंभावविश्व बदलून जातं. मैत्रीतले
  ताण, प्रेमाची सुरुवात, स्वतःला शोधायचा प्रवास... आणि त्या एका उन्हाळ्यातल्या
  काही अशा आठवणी, ज्या कायमच्या लक्षात राहतात ह्या भोवती हा सिनेमा बांधला
  आहे.
  
  सारांश
  १९९९ चा उन्हाळा. एप्रिल-मेमहिना. कोकणातल्या समुद्रकिनारी असलेलं एक
  छोटंसंगाव. निवांत सकाळ, हळुवार वारा, आणि समुद्राच्या लाटांचा शांत आवाज.
  सुट्ट्यां ची सुरुवात होतेय आणि गावातलेतीन मित्र — कृष्णा, प्रसाद आणि सिद्धेश
  — हेसुट्ट्या हुल्लडबाजी करण्यात घालण्याचं ठरवतात. कारण पुढचं वर्षदहावीचं
  आहे – म्हणजेहे, “मोकळेपणाचंशेवटचंवर्ष”.
  
  हेतिघंगावात “त्रिकू ट” म्हणून ओळखलेजातात. एकमेकांशिवाय काहीच करत
  नाहीत. कृष्णा थोडा चिडचिडा ! विशेषतः मुलींबाबत. त्याला वाटतंमुली म्हणजे
  डोक्याला ताप!
  
  ह्या तिघांचंह्या सुट्टीच्या वेळी काय काय करायचंह्याची यादी ठरलेली आहे.
  विहिरींमध्येपोहायचं, समुद्रात बोटिंग करायचं, आणि क्रिके ट तर रोजचंच. पण
  अचानक प्रसादच्या वडिलांनी ठरवून टाकलंकी तो मुंबईला इंग्रजी शिकायला
  जाणार. स्वप्नंफु सकतात.
  
  कृष्णा आणि सिद्धेशचा हिरमोड होतो. तेप्रसादला गावात ठेवण्यासाठी काहीही
  करायला तयार होतात. आणि अशातच गावात एन्ट्री होतेजयची — पुण्यातून
  आलेली, स्मार्ट, इंग्रजी बोलणारी, सोळा वर्षांची मुलगी, थेट कृष्णाच्या शेजारी
  राहायला येते.
  
  प्रसादच्या इंग्रजी शिकण्याच्या निमित्तानेजाई त्यांना गाव दाखवायला लावते.
  हळूहळूती गावातली सगळ्यांची लाडकी होते. पण कृष्णाला तिचंसतत तिथे, त्या
  तिघांमध्ये, असणेखटकलंय. सुरुवातीपासून तो तिच्याशी तिरसतासारखं वागतो.
  त्याला वाटतं तिच्यामुळेसगळं बिघडतंय. विशेषतः तेजेव्हा एक क्रिके ट चा डाव
  हरतात तेव्हा तर तो पेटून उठतो.
  
  मग सगळ्या गावाची प्रेमळ, आजी — ‘भाटीणकाकू’ — कृष्णाला समजावते.
  त्याचंमन थोडं पाघळतं. पुन्हा सगळं ठीक होतं, आणि आता चौघं मिळ
  ून मस्त
  
  सुट्ट्या एन्जॉय करतात.
  पण मग लक्षात येतं – जाई सगळ्यांनाच आवडायला लागलीय!
  
  आता काय?
  मैत्री टिकवायची की प्रेम कबूल करायचं?
  शहरातून आलेली जय या गावाच्या निरागस जगात बसतेका?
  आणि या चौघांचं नातंकु ठं जातं?
  सगळी उत्तरंलपलेली आहेत त्या एका खास उन्हाळ्यात – १९९९ च्या एप्रिल-मे
  मध्ये!
  
  2. Cineman:
  Anand a voluntarily retired teacher, has started a movement to show films to school children in remote villages. Taking seriously the power of film as a medium and its impact on children, Anand continues to work to promote film literacy despite public opposition. Anand and his Children's Film Club have been running an innovative initiative to teach children through cinema for the last 10 years. Noticing his work, a young filmmaker named Omkar meets Anand to make a documentary of his work. Through the process of making the documentary, Anand's struggle to bring the right cinema to these children is highlighted. One day, while showing a movie in a school in a remote village, suddenly the lights go out and the children get to see only half of the movie. There Anand meets  9 year old boy named Ankur who is very talkative, mischievous and intelligent. While talking, Ankur tells the story of a half-watched movie.from here things take an interesting turn and the story goes straight to “Hollywood” in America. The journey, which started out of love for the medium of cinema takes different turns and takes travelers along to create a bridge to connect two different ends together.
  
  3. Dharmasya:
  A widowed father, Digambar Hable, till date is not able to get over an emotionally traumatic incident which took place 22 yrs. back, involving his then fiancee Sowmya. An ayurvedacharya by qualification, he lives in a remote village in Maharashtra, with his 20 yr old daughter, Renukeshwari. A normal looking Renu, unfortuantely for Digambar, suffers from a peculiar type of amnesia, although on occasions, her mind randomly picks up incidents from the past. To put it simply, Renu lives in the present and her father in the past.
  Life takes a turn when one day the local police arrest Renu on a murder charge. After exhausting all his options, Digambar takes it upon himself to find out what happened that fateful night. It takes him to a point where he faces a moral dilemma. His one decision is going to decide his daughter’s fate.
  
  4. Paani:
  Paani (transl. Water) is an Indian Marathi-language drama film directed by Adinath Kothare[1] and produced by Priyanka Chopra Jonas[2] and Madhu Chopra under the banner of Purple Pebble Pictures.[3][4] The film stars Addinath Kothare and Rucha Vaidya in Lead roles, While Subodh Bhave and Kishor Kadam appears in supporting roles. In 2019, the film won the National Film Awards for Best Film on Environment Conservation.[3][5][6] Paani was released theatrically on 18 October 2024.[7] The film is based on the real-life efforts of activist Hanumant Kendre to improve the water supply in his drought-prone village in the Marathwada district.   Plot
  Addinath aka Hanumant Babu Kendre is an ordinary man living in a Nagderwadi, a village in Nanded, plagued with drought. Paani follows his journey towards making the village independent of water, all while dealing with local goons, a budding romance, and other disruptions of daily life.[1] Hanumant Kendre’s marriage got called off by the girl Suvarna’s family due to water crisis in his drought prone village. Hanumant promised the girl that he would marry her the day he resolves this crisis in his village. "Will you wait for me?" He asked. What unfolded ahead is a breathtaking true story of human endeavour driven by love.
  
  5. Ghath:
  Ghaath weaves a gripping tale of trust, betrayal, and ambush. An undercover Maoist stalks a cop who killed his brother, while the officer plots the surrender of a disillusioned Maoist—a fugitive smitten with a tribal woman, fleeing his own cadre. In the shadowy forests of conflict, loyalties fracture, and identities blur between hunter and prey.
  
  6. Gharat Ganpati:
  In the intricately woven and riotously funny family drama & quote;Gharat Ganpati,&quote; chaos and
  cultural dissonance erupt during the vibrant Ganpati festival in the idyllic Konkan region.
  Ketan, a carefree young man, disrupts his eccentric and tightly knit Gharat family by bringing
  his spirited Delhi girlfriend, Kriti, into their insular world. What begins as a simple
  introduction soon spirals into a web of cultural clashes, family tensions, and misunderstandings.
  Set against the richly textured backdrop of the festival, the film captures the interplay of joy,
  sorrow, and the peculiarities of an Indian family steeped in tradition yet facing change. Kriti,
  unfamiliar with joint family dynamics, struggles to find her place within the Gharat family's
  expectations. Her journey is both poignant and profound.
  As the festival unfolds, the family's perceptions of Kriti begin to shift, revealing the
  complexity of relationships and beliefs. &quote Gharat Ganpati quote; delves into themes of acceptance,
  evolving traditions, and the intricate bonds that hold a family together. Through laughter,
  tears, and introspective moments, the film offers a rich exploration of love, identity, and the

  7. Gulkand:
  There are at least 10 known health benefits of `Gulkand`. This film is about the 11th and perhaps the most important benefit - Happiness! A film as sweet, fragrant & healthy as the condiment itself. Nostalgia re-creates relationship drama like no other emotion. When young lovers unite - the whole world conspires to challenge them at every step...but what happens when `older-lovers` re-unite?
  
  8. Jarann:
  The protagonist of the film is Radha, a 40-year-old woman working in the IT industry. She lives in Pune. Currently, she is alone because her husband is abroad for a few months on work. A while ago, Radha had gone on a trip with her family when they met with an accident. Recovering from that accident brought immense stress upon her. Because of this, she is currently undergoing counseling with a psychiatrist.
  
  Just then, Radha gets a call from her parents who live in Konkan. Her father has decided to redevelop their ancestral mansion there. Before demolishing the house, they’ve arranged a small get-together with their relatives.
  Radha, excitedly, decides to go to Konkan with her daughter Sai – back to the very place where she spent her childhood.
  But Radha’s childhood was far from simple. It carried a curse. The curse of Gangoo’s Jaaran!
  
  Back in her childhood, a forty-something widow named Gangoo lived as a tenant in their mansion. Gangoo was deeply interested in black magic and rituals like Jaaran-Maaran. The villagers kept their distance from her because of her eerie presence. Radha’s mother strongly disapproved of Gangoo’s practices and one day threw her out of the house, half-dressed, in humiliation.
  
  To take revenge for this insult, Gangoo cast Jaaran on young Radha. The trauma Radha experienced left a deep impact on her mind. She even needed psychiatric help as a child to recover from it. Over time, she moved on.
  
  Radha and her father still don’t believe in black magic. They think what Gangoo did was not witchcraft but a psychological wound. But Radha’s mother still firmly believes in the curse.
  
  Radha returns to the mansion for the get-together, and her past begins to awaken once again. It all starts when she accidentally enters an old, locked storage room – the very room where Gangoo once lived. There, she finds a doll from her childhood. Gangoo had used this doll to perform the Jaaran on Radha.
  Despite her mother’s warnings, Radha insists on taking the doll back with her to Pune.
  Once she returns, a terrifying chapter begins to unfold in her life. Events start happening around her that make her feel that what Gangoo did was not just superstition, but real black magic.
  What follows is the story of how Radha’s entire life takes an unpredictable, unbelievable, and terrifying turn.
  
  9. Kurla te Vengurla:
  This is the story that explores the complex issues of identity, tradition, and
  modernity in a small town setting. The film's focus is on three different couples
  with unique love stories which add depth and perspective to the narrative.
  The first couple, Anand and Gauri are newly married, but their marriage hits a
  rough patch when Anand decides to return to their hometown leaving the job
  in the city. This decision shakes Gauri's all dreams. She decides to go back to her
  parents leaving Anand & warns him that she will get back only when he will
  settle in Mumbai.
  The second couple, Sharmila and Nandu are in love, but Sharmila's father is
  against their union because he is looking for a well-settled groom from Mumbai.
  Sharmila is a rebellious girl and chooses to run away with Nandu.
  The third couple, Parimal & Asmita. Parimal's entrepreneurial spirit and Asmita's
  academic pursuits add another layer to the film's story.
  This film is about the struggles of young men trying to find partners willing to
  settle down in their hometown and the journey of women who wants to marry
  men from metropolitan cities.
  Overall, this rom-com film seems to offer a nuanced and heartfelt portrayal of
  people living in rural areas with the celebration of the beauty and richness of
  Konkani culture and tradition.
  
  10. Sthal:
  In rural India, a determined young girl, Savita, yearns for education and a bright future.
  However, as her farmer parents anxiously struggle to find a suitable match for her, societal
  expectations place immense pressure on her to prioritize marriage over personal aspirations.
  Facing countless rejections from suitors, she must navigate a world where the pursuit of
  marriage overshadows the very sustenance of life. Shot with non-actors from the village, Sthal
  (A Match) is the director's debut feature film.
  
  11. Susheela Sujit:
  Susheela a middle-aged housewife finds herself unexpectedly locked in a room with Sujeet, a repairman who shockingly resembles someone . What follows is a rollercoaster of emotions, humour, and unexpected twists that challenge their lives and relationships. A heartwarming slice-of-life joyride!!
  
  12. Vidyapeeth:
  Vidyapeeth is a hard-hitting tale of a woman's strength and resilience in the face of all possible adversities.
  Shashi, the protagonist, is a woman hailing from a remote village and belonging to a backward caste. Shashi's mother dies barely a few weeks after giving birth to Shashi, leaving behind a life full of challenges for her only daughter.
  A cruel stepmother, a negligent father, underage marriage and an abusive husband add to Shashi's trauma from a young age.
  Her sole supporter, first literally and later figuratively, is her grandmother. In the face of challenges that weigh Shashi down, her grandmother sets her on the path of education.
  Her thirst for knowledge, her love for the written word and her resolve to better her life help her get a solid education and standing in society.
  A victim of circumstances, Shashi gradually emerges into an independent and confident young woman willing to fight for every bit of the respectable life that she has rightfully earned for herself.
  
  13. Ata Thanbaycha Naay:
  Ata Thambaycha Naay is an inspiring and heartfelt Marathi film based on a true story from the heart of Mumbai. It follows a group of BMC (Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation) sanitation workers in their 40s and 50s who make an extraordinary decision—to return to school and appear for their 10th standard
  exams. Amidst demanding jobs, family pressures, and societal ridicule, they choose courage over compromise, proving that it’s never too late to reclaim self-worth and dignity.   The narrative unfolds through the perspectives of the girl’s family, local authorities, and bystanders, each grappling with fear, uncertainty, and hidden truths.   5. Jitraab:
  Jitraab, the story, reveals the apathy of the social system which, on one hand, worships the Cow as a God but, on the other hand, is insensitive to the real and routine problems that farmers face while tending to these Cows. Namdeo is a farmer whose fate depends solely on the rains. It has become
  extremely tough for him to tend to his cow due to the persistent famine. The cow, Rani, is no longer producing milk, and Namdeo can no longer afford her fodder because his family needs the money to make ends meet. With a heavy heart, Namdeo tries to sell Rani, but no one will buy her because she doesn’t produce milk anymore. Namdeo is troubled by the problem of getting rid of the cow. Namdeo comes across several people who talk lovingly and respectfully about the cow, but none is ready to take responsibility for her. Namdeo is disheartened and finds himself helpless. His destiny brings him from a village to the big city of Mumbai. In Mumbai, Namdeo finds a unique solution that will not just solve Rani’s problems but also those of hundreds of old cows like Rani who have now stopped producing milk and have therefore been rendered ‘useless.’

• Persons with tampered or torn bands will not be allowed inside the theatre.
• Tampered or torn bands can be exchanged at the help desk counter at a nominal fee of Rs. 50/-on handing over the old band.
• Children below 6 years will not be allowed in the theatre.
• Registration is compulsory for all above 6 years. However, those below 18 years will not be allowed for Adult rated films.
