Kashmir Retreat: 6 Days in Srinagar, Gulmarg & Pahalgam

Upon your arrival at Sheikh-ul-Alam International Airport, you will be greeted by our professional chauffeur and transferred in a private AC Vehicle. You will experience the quintessential charm of Kashmir with a stay in a Deluxe Houseboat on Dal Lake or Nigeen Lake, featuring intricate walnut wood carvings and personalized butler service. In the evening, you will embark on a private, decorated Shikara (traditional wooden boat) for a 2-hour tour of the floating gardens and vibrant backwaters. A picturesque 2-hour drive in your private AC Vehicle takes you to Gulmarg, the premier ski resort of India. You will enjoy priority access (subject to availability) to the Gulmarg Gondola, one of the highest cable cars in the world, and ascend to Apharwat Peak for breathtaking views of the Nanga Parbat. In the afternoon, you may spend time at the historic Gulmarg Golf Club or take a guided nature walk through the pine-fringed meadows. Later, you will check into a deluxe hotel. You will depart for Pahalgam, which is approximately a 4.5-hour drive. En route, you will stop at the Pampore Saffron Fields and the ancient Awantipora Ruins, dating back to the 9th century. Upon arrival in Pahalgam, you will check into your boutique riverside resort, where the sound of the Lidder River provides a serene backdrop. The evening will be at leisure, allowing you to relax in the manicured gardens of your hotel or enjoy a private bonfire session. Overnight stay will be in Pahalgam (Deluxe Hotel).

You will visit the stunning Aru Valley, the scenic Betaab Valley (named after the Bollywood film), and the serene Chandanwari. For a touch of adventure, you may take a guided pony ride to Baisaran Valley, often referred to as "Mini Switzerland," offering panoramic views of the town below. After a leisurely breakfast, you will drive back to Srinagar in your AC Vehicle. You will visit the UNESCO-honored Mughal Gardens Nishat Bagh (The Garden of Pleasure) and Shalimar Bagh (The Abode of Love), showcasing the pinnacle of Persian-style landscaping. Later, you will visit a high-end artisanal workshop for a private demonstration of Pashmina weaving and Hand-knotted Silk Carpets, offering an opportunity to acquire authentic, museum-quality Kashmiri crafts.
