Kerala 6 Days Package: Munnar, Thekkady, Alleppey & Kochi

Upon your arrival at Cochin Airport/Railway Station, you will meet the driver and be escorted to your private AC vehicle to begin your ascent to the Western Ghats. You will enjoy a 4-hour scenic drive passing through lush landscapes and rubber plantations, with stops at the majestic Cheeyappara and Valara Waterfalls for photographs and fresh mountain air. On arrival in Munnar, you will check into your hotel and spend the evening at leisure, either relaxing at the property or taking a gentle stroll through the nearby tea gardens as the mist settles. Overnight stay in hotel.

This day is dedicated to exploring the natural splendor of India’s premier tea-growing region. In the morning, you will visit Eravikulam National Park to see the endangered Nilgiri Tahr amidst the rolling hills of Rajamalai. Later, you will explore the Tea Museum and factory to understand the journey of tea from leaf to cup. The day continues with visits to Mattupetty Dam and Echo Point, offering picturesque surroundings ideal for a serene boat ride or quiet walk. You will also explore Blossom Park and the Rose Garden before returning to your hotel.

After breakfast, you will drive toward the spice heartland of Kerala, traveling through winding roads flanked by cardamom and pepper plantations. In Thekkady, you will enjoy a boat cruise on Lake Periyar, where you may spot wild elephants and bisons along the water’s edge. You will also take part in a spice plantation tour, walking through the estate to learn about the cultivation of cinnamon, cloves, and nutmeg. In the evening, you can enjoy your leisure time.

You will descend from the hills to the tranquil plains of Vembanad Lake and check into a private houseboat at noon. The day will be spent gliding through narrow canals, palm-fringed lagoons, and rural paddy fields while observing local village life. You will enjoy a traditional Kerala lunch, evening snacks, and dinner prepared on board. Overnight stay will be in your houseboat, offering a serene experience of sleeping on the water.

After breakfast on the houseboat, you will drive back to the historic port city of Kochi. You will explore the Fort Kochi area, known for its colonial architecture and multicultural heritage. During your visit, you will see the Chinese Fishing Nets, St. Francis Church, and the Santa Cruz Basilica. You will also explore Jew Town and Mattancherry, including the Jewish Synagogue and the Dutch Palace (Mattancherry Palace) with its exquisite murals. Later, you will check into your hotel in Kochi.
