Itinerary

DAY1

Upon your arrival at Kochi Airport or Railway Station, you will meet the driver and be escorted to your private AC vehicle. You will begin your journey toward Munnar, which takes approximately four hours, enjoying the gradual transition from coastal plains to lush mountain terrain. En route, you will stop at the Cheeyappara and Valara Waterfalls, which cascade down the hillside and provide excellent photo opportunities. Upon arrival in Munnar, you will check into your hotel and spend the evening at leisure, enjoying the cooler climate and peaceful surroundings. Overnight stay will be in Munnar.

DAY2

After breakfast, you will visit Eravikulam National Park, home to the endangered Nilgiri Tahr, and take in panoramic views of the rolling hills. Later, you will visit a Tea Museum to learn about tea processing and the history of Munnar’s tea industry, along with an optional tea-tasting session. The day continues with visits to Mattupetty Dam and Echo Point, where you can enjoy the scenic beauty of the lake area. You will also explore the Rose Garden before returning to your hotel for an overnight stay in Munnar.

DAY3

You will depart for Thekkady on a scenic drive of approximately three and a half hours. On arrival, you will participate in a tour of a spice plantation, where you will learn about the cultivation of cardamom, pepper, and cinnamon from an expert naturalist. After checking into your property, you may relax and enjoy your leisure time. Overnight stay will be in Thekkady.

DAY4

In the morning, you will embark on a boat safari on Lake Periyar, where you may spot wild elephants and bison along the water’s edge. You will also have the opportunity to engage in an elephant experience that includes feeding and a forest walk, focusing on ethical interaction. In the evening, you can enjoy your leisure time. Overnight stay will be in Thekkady.

DAY5

You will drive to Alleppey, often called the “Venice of the East,” which takes approximately four hours. Upon arrival, you will board a private houseboat (Kettuvallam) around noon. You will cruise through the tranquil Vembanad Lake and narrow canals, observing village life along the backwaters. You will stay overnight on the houseboat, anchored in a peaceful backwater location.

DAY6

After breakfast on the houseboat as it cruises back to the jetty, you will return to Kochi in your AC Vehicle. Depending on your flight or train schedule, you will explore Fort Kochi, the Chinese Fishing Nets, and the Jewish Synagogue. Finally, you will be dropped at Kochi Airport or the Railway Station for your onward journey.
