Ladakh & Srinagar Scheduled Trip: 9 Days of Himalayan Serenity

Arrival at Leh Airport, to be received by our representative and transferred to the pre-booked hotel. Check in to the hotel for a complete day of rest and acclimatization. Welcome tea and coffee will be served by the hotel. Later, on your own, explore the Leh Market on your own.

Overnight will be at the hotel.

After breakfast, cover the spots in and around Leh. Major tourist attractions to cover will be Leh Palace, Shanti Stupa, Magnetic Hill, Sangam Point of the Indus and Zanskar Rivers, Gurudwara Pather Sahib, Hall of Fame Museum, and the local market. Return to the hotel for overnight stay. Leh is the most well-known city of Ladakh. Surrounded by towering mountain ranges and serene lakes, it offers a very different tourism experience to visitors. Later, back to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

After an early breakfast, leave for Nubra Valley via Khardungla Pass, which is the highest motorable road in the world at 18,380 ft. Arrive at Diskit by afternoon. Later, explore the Diskit Monastery, which was founded in the 14th century and is one of the largest Buddhist monasteries. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

After breakfast, drive to Turtuk (which was first opened for tourists in 2010), which is a place annexed by India only after the 1971 war. The village of Turtuk is one of the only Balti villages in India and lies right next to the LoC. The village, with its whole population of Muslims, still resembles mini Pakistan. The village's inhabitants still use traditional utensils which are crafted from stone. Explore the village of Turtuk. The village offers views of a beautiful valley, part of Shyok Valley. On clear days, you can have a glimpse of K2 Mountain Peak located across the border in Pakistan. Though a Muslim village, there are few Gompas located on the plateau above the Shyok River, and there is an old royal house to see in the village. Return to Hunder by the evening. Dinner & overnight at camp.

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Pangong Lake. The clear water of this lake reflects the sky's colour, giving it an effect of changing colours from blue to turquoise/light pink and so on throughout the day & night. Another amazing fact about this lake is that it freezes completely during winters despite being saline.

Overnight stay will be in Pangong camps.

Wake up and have breakfast in the serenity of this beautiful place. Later, head back to Leh. Upon arrival, check in to the pre-booked hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and hit the roads to Kargil. We will make our way through Mulbek, Namika La, Fotula La, and Kargil War Memorial. Reach Kargil and check into the hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Enjoy your morning meal and proceed to Srinagar. On the way, catch glimpses of the famous Tiger Hill and Tololing, which played an important role in the Kargil War. Drive through Zojila Pass and Drass Valley before proceeding to Srinagar. Check in to the hotel, have dinner, and overnight stay at the hotel.
