Upon reaching Guwahati Airport or Railway Station, you’ll be transferred to Shillong, often called the “Scotland of the East.” The 100 km drive (approx. 3 hours) offers stunning views, including a stop at the serene Umiam Lake. Check in to your hotel and relax for the night in Shillong.<br><br></div><div><strong>Day 2: Shillong to Cherrapunjee – Via Mawlynnong &amp; Dawki</strong><br> After breakfast, check out and start early (around 7 AM). Drive towards Dawki (approx. 80 km / 2-3 hours) to visit the famous Dawki Bridge and experience a short boat ride on the crystal-clear Umngot River.
