<div>Day 1: Guwahati to Shillong – Arrival and Transfer Welcome to Awesome Assam! Upon reaching Guwahati Airport or Railway Station, you will be transferred to Shillong, fondly known as the “Scotland of the East.” The 100 km journey (approx. 3 hours) includes a stop at the serene Umiam Lake, surrounded by picturesque hills. Check in and stay overnight in Shillong. </div><div>Day 2: Shillong to Cherrapunjee – Via Mawlynnong &amp; Dawki After breakfast, check out from your hotel and start early around 7:00 AM. Drive to Dawki (approx. 80 km / 2–3 hrs) to see the famous Dawki Bridge and take a short boat ride on the crystal-clear Umngot River. Then, visit Mawlynnong, “Asia’s Cleanest Village,” and explore the living root bridge amid lush greenery. Continue to Cherrapunjee (approx. 90 km / 2–3 hrs). Arrive in the evening and stay overnight. </div><div>Day 3: Cherrapunjee – Full Day Sightseeing After breakfast, visit the beautiful waterfalls and caves that define Cherrapunjee — Wah-Kaba Falls, Mawsawa Falls, Prut Waterfall, Lyngksiar Falls, Janailar Falls, Seven Sisters Falls, Arwah Cave, Mawsmai Cave, Nohkalikai Falls, and Eco Park. Overnight stay at Cherrapunjee. </div><div>Day 4: Cherrapunjee – Excursion to Double Decker Trek (Sunday Closed) After breakfast, head out for a full-day trip to the Double Decker Living Root Bridge at Nongriat Village. Start your trek from Tyrna Village, passing through lush forests, cliffs, and charming villages. Witness this incredible natural wonder — a 100-feet-long living bridge made from intertwined roots, and take a refreshing dip in the natural pool below. Trek back and relax after this adventurous day. Overnight stay at Cherrapunjee. </div><div>Day 5: Cherrapunjee to Shillong – Via Phe Phe and Krangsuri Falls Start early with boating in the clear waters of the Umngot River, then drive back to Shillong via Jaintia Hills. On the way, visit the mesmerizing Krangsuri and Phe Phe Waterfalls. Arrive in Shillong and spend the evening at leisure. Overnight stay in Shillong. </div><div>Day 6: Shillong to Guwahati – Visit Kamakhya Temple and Drop After breakfast, check out and proceed to Guwahati. Visit the Kamakhya Temple, one of India’s most revered shrines, before being dropped at the airport or railway station. Tour ends with wonderful memories of Meghalaya.</div>
