Itinerary

DAY1

Arrival at Guwahati Airport / Railway Station. Drive to Shillong, popularly known as the “Scotland of the East.” Enroute stop at: Umiam Lake A scenic reservoir surrounded by pine-covered hills. Optional boating available. Upon arrival: Check-in to hotel Freshen up Evening: Visit Police Bazaar Café hopping & local Khasi cuisine tasting.

Overnight stay in Shillong.

DAY2

After breakfast, explore major attractions: Elephant Falls Shillong Peak (highest viewpoint offering panoramic views) Ward’s Lake Don Bosco Museum (optional cultural museum) Afternoon: Visit Laitlum Canyons (weather permitting) for breathtaking valley views. Evening at leisure.

DAY3

After breakfast, proceed to Cherrapunji (Sohra), one of the wettest places on Earth. Visit: Nohkalikai Falls India’s tallest plunge waterfall with dramatic valley backdrop. Seven Sisters Falls (seasonal) Eco Park viewpoint Mawsmai Cave – Limestone cave exploration Arwah Cave (optional) Check-in to hotel in Cherrapunji. Evening: Relax amidst misty hills & valley views.

DAY4

After early breakfast, proceed towards Dawki. Visit: Umngot River Famous for crystal-clear waters where boats appear floating. Optional boating available. Mawlynnong Known as “Asia’s Cleanest Village.” Bamboo Sky Walk Living Root Bridge Rural Khasi village experience Return to Cherrapunji by evening.

Overnight stay in Cherrapunji.

DAY5

After breakfast, check-out and drive back to Guwahati Airport / Railway Station for departure. Tour concludes with refreshing Meghalaya memories.
