The Sunset Cultural Desert Safari Tour Package offers a captivating blend of heritage, adventure, and cultural experiences. Starting from the historical Kuldhara Village, you’ll embark on a camel safari through the Thar Desert, enjoy traditional Rajasthani performances, and end with a memorable dinner under the stars.


  • 2:00 PM – Pick-up:
    The tour starts with a pick-up from your pre-decided location in Jaisalmer at around 2 PM. You will be driven by a chauffeur to the famous Kuldhara Village, an abandoned settlement that dates back to the 13th century. Here, you will hear the intriguing stories and history behind why this village was mysteriously abandoned. Your driver will act as your guide, providing insights into its historical significance.
  • Explore Kuldhara Village:
    Take a short tour around the ruins of Kuldhara Village, an eerie yet fascinating site where you can learn about the local folklore and legends associated with this ghost town.
  • Camel Safari through the Dunes:
    After exploring the village, the real adventure begins! You will head towards the desert for a camel safari—the most awaited part of the tour. Riding on the back of a camel, you’ll sway gently as you cross the majestic sand dunes. This journey across the serene and picturesque dunes offers an unforgettable experience of the Thar Desert’s vast beauty.
  • Sunset at the Sand Dunes:
    As you ride through the desert, capture the stunning views of the sun setting over the dunes. The sunset casts golden hues over the desert, creating an incredible photo opportunity. Once the camel ride is complete, you will arrive at the desert camp.
  • Arrival at the Desert Camp:
    You’ll be warmly greeted at the camp in traditional Rajasthani style, with a warm welcome and refreshments. Tea and snacks will be served in the courtyard to refresh and energize you for the evening ahead.
  • Cultural Program & Folk Dance:
    The highlight of the evening is the Sunset Cultural Program, featuring lively and vibrant performances of Rajasthan’s famous folk dances and music. The star attraction is the Kalbelia Dance, a sensuous dance form performed by women dressed in black, adorned with intricate mirror work. The men, wearing colorful turbans, will play traditional instruments, creating a festive atmosphere. These performances showcase the rich cultural heritage of rural Rajasthan.
  • Dinner under the Stars:
    After enjoying the cultural performances, you will be treated to a delicious buffet dinner (pure vegetarian) served at the camp, around a cozy campfire. The combination of traditional food, desert ambiance, and starry skies makes this an unforgettable dining experience.
  • 9:00 PM – Drop-off:
    After a delightful evening of entertainment and dining, you will be transported back to Jaisalmer with our scheduled transport, concluding the sunset desert safari.
